Facility Reservations
Room and Facility Rental
The Talbot County Community Center has several meeting rooms and facilities, which can accommodate most events or occasions. Folding chairs, eight foot rectangular tables, and five foot round tables are available for use, but supply is limited. Please note the common areas are not available for rental. Room rentals are on a first come, first serve basis. The room will not be booked until you have completed a Facility Rental Agreement Form accompanied by payment in full for the rental. To reserve the room you may pay by cash, check, or credit card.
The Curling Rink
The room is a large open space with concrete floor. Space is great for all types of special events. This space can not be rented during the Curling Season. Available April-October. $120/hour. 300 maximum capacity.
The Chesapeake Room
This room is adjacent to the curling rink and equipped with audio and visual capabilities. It has full-size restrooms, a catering kitchen, and an island to serve food. Availiable April-October. $75/hour. 54 maximum capacity.
Wye Oak Room
The Wye Oak room is primarily a meeting space. It is a carpeted room equipped with audio and visual capabilities. $75/hour. 56 maximum capacity.
Skipjack Room
Primarily a party room, this area is located off of the skating rink. This room can also accommodate small meetings or workout classes. Wall length mirrors are located inside this room as well as two single stall private restrooms. $50/hour. 48 maximum capacity.
Tuckahoe Room
Primarily a party room, this room is located off of the skating rink. This room can also accommodate small meetings. $50/hour. 48 maximum capacity.
Gymnasium
Looking for a large indoor space to host your next sports practice, tournament, or community event? The gymnasium at the Talbot County Community Center offers two full-size courts with ample space for sports and recreational activities, or your next event. With bleacher seating and access to restrooms and parking, the gym is a versatile venue for both athletic and non-athletic events.
Sports Fields
Talbot County Parks and Recreation offers well-maintained outdoor sports fields perfect for practices, games, tournaments, and special events. Fields are available for a variety of sports including soccer, baseball, softball, lacrosse, and more. Locations throughout the county provide convenient access and beautiful surroundings for your athletic activities.
